OPPORTUNITY RISING CAREER & RESOURCE FAIR

The City of Columbus, in collaboration with Ohio Means Jobs, will host an Opportunity Rising Career and Resource Fair on Saturday, January 28th to give job candidates an opportunity to apply for a wide range of job positions, meet with HR staff from the different city departments, learn about city programs and resources, and attend various mini workshops. In preparation for the main event, the City of Columbus will host FREE public workshops throughout Columbus to provide residents with information about the city’s hiring and selection process.
The workshop presentation will cover who the Civil Service Commission is, why the Civil Service Commission exists and their role in the city's hiring process, the benefits of working for the City of Columbus, how to apply for city employment, and what to expect during the selection process.
