THROWBACK THURSDAY!!!
Pictured here at the right in this photo from 1908 is the general store that was once located on the southeast corner of Groveport's Main and Walnut streets. The signs on the store's front read, "groceries, provisions, boots, shoes..." A hitching post can be seen in front of the store. There's also a sign indicating a public pay telephone is available in the store. This building in later years became the Cruiser Inn restaurant and today is part of the funeral home complex on Main Street. (Photo courtesy of the Groveport Heritage Museum).
