City of Groveport issued the following announcement on February 7.
A message from our Public Works Department: The past snow storm wreaked havoc on residential mailboxes throughout the community. While plowing, snow plow operators attempt to avoid damage to mailboxes, but when the snow is wet and heavy there will inevitably be damages. After the end of the event, staff will start repairs to those mailboxes which have been damaged by the snow plow. Today, Public Works staff are driving through the community looking for damages. When identified, they will either repair or replace the mailbox. Occasionally, this takes more effort while locating the unique replacement. If you have a damaged mailbox within the City of Groveport and it is not repaired by Wednesday morning, please contact Groveport Public Works at 614.836.3910.
