City of Groveport issued the following announcement on February 10.
THROWBACK THURSDAY!!!
Though the old Groveport Madison High School that once stood at 4475 S. Hamilton Road was demolished in 2018 and replaced by the new high school, photos remain of the old school. Construction on the school began in the late 1960s and continued through 1975 when the auditorium was finally added. Classes were held there even while construction was ongoing. Pictured here is the commons area of the old high school, which is the open area located between the gym and the cafeteria, as it looked while it was under construction in a photo believed to be from around 1969-70.
