City of Groveport issued the following announcement on January 27.
Applications are being accepted for a Full-Time Front Desk Clerk at our Recreation Center.
The Recreation Center is committed to providing quality leisure activities and facilities which contribute to community health and wellness.
This position will perform basic office duties, assist in coordinating front desk operations, and greet patrons. Additional duties include processing program registrations, point of sale. transactions, facility rentals, birthday party packages and resident identification cards. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service, computer skills and have the
ability to work a flexible work schedule (including early morning hours, evenings and weekends) to meet the operational needs of the department.
Qualifications include the completion of secondary education or equivalent; prefer one (1) year of relevant work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess the ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
The successful candidate must be able to pass a background (BCI and FBI), possess a valid Ohio driver’s license and maintain insurability under the Municipality’s vehicle insurance policy. Starting Salary Range of $13.60/hr. to $17.74/hr. based upon previous experience.
