Columbus leaders eye housing, transit investments to prepare for Intel

City of Columbus - City Hall issued the following announcement on January 27.

Although Intel is planning to build its facilities in Licking County, the thousands of people expected to work at the factories and at jobs created around them will be looking for housing across the region. Columbus, then, needs to be sure it has ample market-rate, workforce and subsidized housing to accommodate the growth Intel will bring, Mayor Andrew J. Ginther said.
